Hydrogeological Assessments

Envires’ Hydrogeology department offers groundwater and related serves, for the development of sustainable solutions to the mining industry.

The team consists of experienced senior Hydrogeologists, modelers and water scientists with a combination of consulting and regulatory experience within the mining industry.

Some of the fields of experience include:

Monitoring and compliance auditing

  1. Integrated water use license applications (IWULA);
  2. Environmental impact assessments (EIA);
  3. Environmental management plans (EMP);
  4. Design and execution of water quality monitoring; and
  5. Interpretation and reporting of monitoring data.
  6. Geophysical (magnetic, resistivity, electro-magnetic and gravity) surveying;
  7. Identification of optimal sites for borehole location;
  8. Boreholes and piezometers drilling supervision;
  9. Aquifer and packer testing supervision and interpretation; and
  10. Surface water and groundwater interaction assessments.
